I have a 3 pin radial ceramic I am trying to identify the manufacturer and specifications for, I was told it might be by Murata and while I can find things that look similar in their range the part code is way off.

What I think I know:
I think the part is a ceramic resonator - I know on the silkscreen it is marked as EMI.
I'm pretty sure that its 100V.
The nearest thing I can find in respect of part code B102M is capacitor specification 102 meaning .001uF or 1000pF but I have not seen capacitors with three pins.

Can someone help me confirm if I'm right or wrong or direct me to the appropriate datasheet - i'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

EMI capacitor 100pF 100V. Two capacitors connected in series with common pin in the middle.

Ahhh so that's how it works, thank you for that I had been looking all over the place and everything similar was specified in a Mhz rating, do you have any idea where I could see a datasheet ( irrelevant of manufacturer ) where I could see all the specs for these things?

Cheers in advance and thanks for the reply.

Search for EMI filters or EMI suppression filters Murata. If you don't find exact type compare similar.

I would guess 101 100pf.

100V for split line data transient noise suppresion for Pi filter or CM filter with grounded centre {not AC line V rated}

Advantages
● Replaces 2 or 3 capacitors with one device
● Ultra low inductance due to cancellation effect
● For balanced lines:
Matched capacitance line to ground on both lines
● Differential and common mode attenuation
● Effects of temperature and voltage variation eliminated
● Effect of ageing equal on both lines
Agree M = 20% tolerance at room, probably Y5U general purpose material
