Hence, if the clock source were to be from a PC, it is not adequate. Newer family does not needs very accurate clock.

CYP Freeware Programmer: http://www.psocdeveloper.com/tools/misc-dev-tools.html You can re-compile the source from the CY8C26xxx to CY8C27xxx and then use it in the CY8C27xxx series.
