Help me with HW settings in Code Composer

Now I am middle part of the program for my application. I learning periphrels of MSP430 and writting program using C language with Code composer essential compiler. Now I have a problem on understanding HW setting. If it possible help or direct me,

The problem is, I want to use the flase memory of MSP430F427 micro. for that I need sample codes suitable for code composer. No such sample code in ti web site. so advice me. I need pure c code from variable initiation into flash memory to erase/write flash memory.
