Help me with ENC28J60!!!

Hi all. Im in designing with Ethernet project using ATMEGA64 and ENC28J60. However, im in trouble with the connection. In ENC28J60 datasheet, i see that it only support Ethernet (10Mbps), not Fast Ethernet (10/100Mbps). So, when i connect the board (ATMEGA64+ENC28J60) directly to My computer with 10Mbps FullDuplex, the board worked well. But when i try to connect it to Switch, (100Mbps), the baord didnt work well. Sometimes, it is unconnected and i can not ping.
So, what is my problem? Is it relate to ENC28J60 speed? Can every one help me?
