Help me with audio amplifier for electronic stethoscope

electronic stethoscope

i m making an electronic stethoscope and need to design an audio amplifier which can amplifie the sound recieved by a manual stethoscope and pass it on to adc.i have tried a couple of circuits available on the net but they are not working i need a tutorial or guide of some sort which can help me through the analysing phase and designing phase for this perticular type of audio amplifier.any body with any suggestions

Use LM358 or TDA philips series!
