Help me with a program transferring file to 2 PCs in JAVA

help

hii all i am trying to write a program for transfereing a file between 2 PCs in JAVA and my problem is that i could not send the file name to the second PC and i am new in JAVA so anybody can help me to do that thanx

how are the two PCs connected?
 

help

the tow PC,s are connected via a network cable (socket connection)
but i could send the name successfully via ObjectOutputStream and pass a string Object in it then flush it
