help me to design a schematic for my highway gate system with GAL

i want to design highway gate system which will detect cars, print ticket, close and open the gate which are using GAL.

i am newbie with this GAL. so i create this thread to learn.

here is my plan :

that's how i want my design looks like.
but i want to make them all only as model.

so, the printer shouldn't be real printer.
this task only focusing on logic gate and GAL programming.

so, my design will be like this :
1. car pass through IR and photodiode stops from receiving IR.
2. then, ticket printer print out the ticket.
3. driver takes the ticket
4. the gate opens.
5. with timer applied for the gate, the gate will close in several seconds.

please help me to design what component and how should i make this model.

write the digital design spec.

if using gal , write the equations.
use a gal assembler and generate gal prog file.
