Help me design an 8 bit CPU with VHDL

i need to design 8 bit cpu with minimum 20 instruction,2 mode of addressing,at least 2 register. I'm learning vhdl myself and I think it will be help in designing my cpu..i don't need to implement on development...just i need to show the rtl, timing diagrams...

Hello!!!
I was able to simulate 16 bit cpu in protel dxp 2004 using

vhdl language. The codes are from "VHDLrogramming by Example" book

which I download from rapidshare...but i forgot the link.
The protel dxp fpga project of cpu is attached.

Get this book : Computer Organization and Design: The Hardware
Software Interface by Patterson and Hennessy.... It presents a detailed explaination of datapath/control unit design ...
