Hi everyone,

Sorry if i post this in the wrong place, I dont really know where this would belong.

I have this complicated question that i want to work out, and would like someone to answer it for me. (if you're worried about it being a school question, it is not).

The Question reads:

A CE amplifier has the following values for AC signal: v_b=±60mV, i_b=±40µA, v_c=±3v and i_c=±3.2mA. Calculate Volatge gain A_V.

Thanks.

Re: Please Halp! Stuck

Vb=±60mV
Ib=±40µA
Vc=±3v
Ic=±3.2mA

hFe = Ic/Ib = 80
av = Vc/Vb = 50

Re: Please Halp! Stuck

Though, vc=±3V seems a bit too much. Where is the circuit used?
