i want to make a antenna positioner .the antenna is drive by a satellite dish actuator with a reed sensor.anyone can help me?

thank you

It is just a magnetic reed switch. When the motor rotates, it opens/closes. You just need to tie a pullup resistor like you wireup a push button and connect to the port pin of a microcontroller. Rest is software.

easy to say hard to make.this will be my first encounter with uc.so.....anybody can show me any link?found one with avr but the software is not complete :(
