your MOS would be driven by a square wave and hence the LC would pass that resonant frequency component alone if L and C are in series and if in parallel all the other frequency components(square wave has all frequency sine waves)....
the diode D3 will clip your output to around 11.3V....
the radiated strength can be talked about only with respect to the saturation point of the magnetic core.....
it can be done...
the coil itself is a inductor and hence there wont be big change in the output waveform....
Thanks for your reply, on the basis of your responce am I correct in saying that if an oscilloscope was placed across the inductor coil it would show square waves in a parallel L & C configuration? Would this still be the same waveform if inductor (L) and capacitor (C) were at resonance?
