help in GPRS graduation project

hi guys,

i am working on graduation project which is about student courses registration system using mobile. i went to connect the mobile and server using GPRS, and i will use J2ME to implement the application on mobile. really i don't now from where i can begin so i would be grateful to any person help me in this project.
