help in Deconvolution

hello everybody,

for 1/2 rate convolutional coding, for a 3 bit input i get 6 bit output, but now how can i get back the same 3 bit with the help of 6 bit input to the deconvolutional encoder,
can anybody help me with this algorithm. i am in need with this very badly, i have to finish this project. but i am new to this digital communication field
