Help in building simple progect

I am newbie too microcontrollers and i would be much obliged if some one can help me. I am interested in building a progect in which an LED turns off an on intermittently. I am looking for schematics for this progect.

Hi friend. This is very simple if you are new to microcontrollers first read the architecture of that controller. you can refer a book MAZIDI for 8051 for this purpose or u can surf net. Reading MAZIDI will definetely help you.
