Help for a biginner?

Well, I guess I should start with saying "Hi", as I'm new to the forums.
That done, on to my question - could something like this actually work?

**broken link removed**

It's a voltage summator (or adder, English isn't my native language, so I'm not quite sure), I know that the actual summator should work fine. My question relates more to the power supply. LM833 uses bipolar (+/-2.5V to +/-36V) power supply, In my case, I'd like supply it from a 9V battery.
So, is the schematic right to do this?
If not, what should be changed?

And, don't be too harsh on me, I'm quite new to electronics ;)

Re: Help for a biginner?

is this some kind of mixer -amplifier?

Re: Help for a biginner?

The audio mixer circuit will not work with R6. Remove R6.
It also will not work with pin3 at the same DC voltage as pin4. Pin4 should be the negative supply voltage.
Remove R7 and the resistor in series to ground since they do not do anything.

For it to work with a 9V supply then bias pin3 at half the supply voltage with 2 series resistors and a filter capacitor like this:
