I would like to design a microcontroller-based peripheral with a SATA interface.
Does anyone know of a microcontroller with a SATA device interface (not Host) ?
(This would make the design very easy)

Thanks
RR

I know the post is old, but would like to mention (for the guys who googled "microcontroller" "Serial ATA") that...
There's a microcontroller from ST-Microelectronics called SPEAr1310 (Cortex A9); take a look at it.
Texas Instruments also have several OMAP microcontrollers with Serial-ATA.
