I just designed a new microstrip antenna working at 7.5 GHz using a new structure in HFSS.
Its 1.1:1 VSWR bandwidth is about 30%.
If adjusted to 1.25:1 VSWR, the bandwidth can be extended to 45%.
The size of the antenna is about 0.7wavelength*0.7wavelength, but it is possible to make it smaller.

Is this antenna preferred in any wireless application than any current microstrip antennas?
In other words, is this antenna useful?

Thanks!

i think the quality which u achieve is very good but that frequency not useful for wireless but if u able u modify it for 11 GHz it may be very good for radar application
can u send your antenna simulation to my mail

Dear Ferdows,

Would you please specify what kind of radar my antenna can be used to?
Any reference would be great.
And what is you e-mail?
