help about JDM Programmer

jdm programmer 24c16

i make a JDM programmer according h t t p://www.jdm.homepage.dk/newpic.htm,

but it can't work.

i measuer the vss and vdd, it is 5.1v, but when the ic-prog reading device,

the voltage down to about 2.7v, is it OK?

i used BC546B in place of BC547B, is there any problem?

Have you put anything on the voltage lines to indicate, ie led to show voltage present . When I made mine I had to raise the value of the led feed resistors to ensure the voltage did not drop to much. This programmer works well , just check to make sure your resistor values are OK . I am sure that any resonable transistor will work as long as they are the right type .

i don't use any led. and the resistor for Q2 is 1.5K and 10K.

first try with enable vcc control for jdm and also try to find the post of gulson about jdm programmer have look at attach hardware

i`ve got another problem

i use 2n3904 transistors
IC-Prog read korectly 24c16
but PicBinEditor 1.70 cant read 24c16
i see when IC-Prog work it dont use MCLR line
but PicBinEditor use MCLR line and the voltage on Vcc and CLOCK comes down(I have leds on all lines)

anybody knows what the matter?, if you undestend me

Raise the value of the feed resistors of the led`s to sat 4k7 and see if the voltage lifts.

remove leds

i remove all leds but it change nothing
i have another programator JDM BY SOLO
with this PicBin reads corectly only 24c16 and dont read pic16f84
with classic jdm PicBin cant read anything
when startind reading first few byts reading correctly
i see that 5v power coms down
anybody works with JDM and PicBin together?
i`m just interesting what happaned
