Help: 8051 Programming

i am an undergraduate student of electrical enginnering.
i want to learn 8051 programming.
can anybody tell me which is the best book/resource to learn it??

Just search google, like i did. I fouund and succesfully build willemprog that burns common types like 89c2051 and many others from 89c and 90s series. But then i found 89c5132 witch is USB isp programmable so it's no problem for me. But vhy don't you use AVR?

Go to Philips or Atmel
They have good tutorials on 8051

I suggest you to read "Embedded C" for Michael J. Pont published by Adison Wisely. It is a very good book for 8051 beginners

there is a sofware (proteus),try it.it is very helpful.

Read the book " the 8051 Microcontroller " by Scott Mackenzie. Its very good book and starts from the basics.

Also use Keil uVision software for simulating assembly / c programs and u will learn a lot by experimenting on this simulator.

e-book "Final Word on the 8051" is an excellent source of knowledge both for the beginner and intermediate user.

you can access the 8051 information in www.8052.com. You will be OK for you.
