Hello, I have a problem with Quadrature Decoder/Counter HCTL-2032. When I read the value from the counter I only get 16 or 24 bit value so after 65535 or 16 777 215 pulses it starts to count from 0. It depends on the count mode, when I change EN1 and EN2 to 4x mode I get 16bit otherwise in 1x or 2x mode I get 24bit. Never 32bit. I can see in the datasheet that it supports 8, 16, 24, or 32-Bit Operating Modes and on the page 14 there are some possibilities A,B,C,D. But I don´t understand how to use or change it. Does anybode have any experience?

Thank you in advance for your help
