ledit gds support

I already use PDA take word/excel file , and circuit

I can use repligo convert PDF circuit to PDA ..
and read datasheet on my PDA

but I use repligo convert GDS (Ledit use repligo printer)
not clean ..

have any CAD tool can read GDS file ? PDA is small than mobile PC(notebook)
maybe PDA LCD is small , but sometime it can be use (use zoom in /out)

palm have zipcad can read Autocad dxf file ..
I think maybe gds -> dxf -> zipcad on Palm maybe work ?

You can try PocketCAD from ArcSecond (www.arcsecond.com), ArcPad from ESRI (www.esri.com), and OnSite View from Autodesk (www.autodesk.com).

Tanner ledit -> GDS to DXF
Palm ZIpcad -> import DXF file

PocketCad look like no support GDS
"CAD"ENCE Verdict --> Cadence Corp ???

convert ledit file to dxf file

use linkcad convert GDS to autocad R12 DXF format (don't use binary DXF & flat ),
and if DXF file is small .. like < 300Kbyte

Palm pda use zipcad can show chip layout
zipcad can read DXF file import/export DXF file from SD or RAM .
but if DXF file is large 800K , zipcap display will very long time ..

use 4/7 zoom out/in chip .

The LASI tool will read GDS-II files pretty well (and
manipulate the imported layouts if you like) but I do
not know how well it might install on your PDA. It has
been around for a long time and is not very needy of
resources, so might be worth a try.

There are GDS viewers out there.

But trying to look at a layout on a PDA-resolution
screen would drive me nuts.
