Hello, when we design an amplifier we have some non linear behavior, harmonic balace simulation is a popular simulation to describe this non linear result,
althugh i think it lacks data because we look only for the tones which are multiple of our input frequency.

Why dont we take the steady state time domain responce and do FFT on it, thus getting all the data in all the frequency spectrum.

why harmonic balance is more popular?
Thanks.
