Hi All,
I have an interview for a hardware electrical enginner postion to prepare. Anybody has advices and suggestions? Any good materials or tutorials to review before going to the interview?
The job description is as following:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Hardware design based on system level requirements, including but not limited to
schematic capture, PCB layout, assembly instructions, and component selection;
- Building, testing, debugging and optimization of prototype.
- Current product optimization
EXPERIENCE: experience in hardware design, especially in microprocessor
based systems. Familiar with microprocessors such as MCS-51, ARM and Mega128 family. Firmware experience a plus.
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:
-Design for manufacturing sensitivity
-Hands-on experience in 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit processor and peripherals
-Familiar with design packages (Protel and PADS), ORCAD, ALTIUM
-Experience in debugging analog, digital and sensing/control electronics
-Embedded software experience
-Understanding of system and subsystem communications industry standards
such as RS232, I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet, etc.
- Knowledge of ultrasonic transducers, pressure sensors, and proximity sensors a
plus
-Knowledge of wireless communication protocols a plus
