I am very new embedded programming , I can code GPIO pin configurations for my purpose but I am given a project to code K40 microprocessor to interface with LPT1245 through serial data interface. Interfacing signals are 4 motor control signals , Clock signal for synchronization , Serial data output to printer , 6 strobe signals for controlling thermal heads on the printer , Paper sensor and temperature sensor.

How to synchronize all these factors and send data to print either text or bit map image. Kindly provide some information for my query. Mainly i need info regarding pushing the data to print a line (for eg) with 384 dots and control thermal heads activation.:-?

Thermal printer - LPT1245
Microcontroller - K40
