gsm modem sim 900a serial communication not working!!

Hi,

when i call to the GSM module it rings!!

but i am unable to communicate to the modem serially through hyper terminal

i have tried the configuration
in tera term
braud rate :9600
data : 8 bit
parity : none
stop :none
flow control:none
transmit delay
0 msec/char 0 msec/line

but i am not getting any reply

from the modem

can anyone help me on this??

Hi Elias,

The GSM - SIM900A module on default comes with 115200,8,N,1,NONE baud rate.

Try in this baud rate..
