gsm modem is not receiving data properly

i have tested the gsm modem in PC and it works properly.but when i try to connect with arm cortex data is being send through arm board but gsm is not responding.Is this problem in connecting RS232?the same wire works well while teting in desktop.

First of all you didn't explain your problem properly.
Based on the information provided by you, no one in this forum can help you.

If you think this is hardware issue then post your hardware schematic and if you think it is a software issue post your code.

Have you turned off the echo off setting of your module.
Provide some more information so that others can help you.
