Hello,

Your description shows the radiation pattern of an omnidirectional antenna. Maximum radiation is in the XY plane (as sin(90) = 1). The -3dB half power elevation angles are -45 and +45 degrees (as sin^2(45) = 0.5). Note that theta=90 equals elevation angle = 0 and theta = 0 equals elevation angle = 90.

Do you need to fully evaluate the total radiated power (that is solving a 2D-integral (that can be converted to a 1D integral here) ), evaluate the integral with numerical approximation, or may you select from standard radiation patterns? Your described pattern shape is that of a vertically oriented electrically very short wire and that has a Directiviy of 1.5 (exact).
