Hello fellas, I am learning the concepts of prediction of vibrations using Geophones. And while deciding the specification to buy one I find that various companies mentioned about the natural frequencies of different Hz. Well, I am planning to go for natural frequency of 14 Hz but I want to know what is the role of natural frequency while deciding the specification of a Geophone? And is there any relation with its coil resistance?

-Some of the companies provide Geophones are: Sercel, ION Geophysical, Mitcham Industries.
-For comparison of specification kindly google: ION geophysical geophones product brochure.

Thank you.
