The company is called genesis Microchip, I have used their devices in the past, great devices - but the support can be painful, best to get their product CD for a distributor which plenty of application note on it, and look at details of there evalution/reference design to get you going, ask about the which accompanies on of their boards - best dstarting point.
Sorry about that last post a bit rushed, what I meant to say was try and get hold of the software which comes with their development board for the devices you are interested in, it can be quite extensive.
