Hi

Do we have Gallium Arsenide Technology now in use?
I know most of the FAB's use Silcon. But where and who(Companies) is using this Gallium Aresenide Technology. What is the cost rate compared to Silicon?

Motorola has the capability to fab with GaAs and Silicon The hybrid chips cost about 1/10 of what straigt GaAs would run, though I don't have exact numbers. Other suppliers of GaAs based chips can be found here hxxp://www.thomasnet.com/products/amplifiers-gallium-arsenide-fet-1570969-1.html
