hi all

could someone please explain me the the following problem ?

the fact is i dont understand that why the fuzzy logic is called a different and independent topic on its own ? actually i think that fuzzification i just a sort of nonuniform , smart quantization based on some sort of assumptions, isnt that all ?
i mean that finally you are going to struggle with computers that just know zeros & ones & nothing else !! so the only thing that you'll have to play with is your quantization scheme !! i dont understand that why the hell is it considered as an independent science or topic ? would some one please explain me that ?

thnx all
