Hello all,

I am a beginner in Direction-of-Arrival problem. Can anyone recommend me some literature that deals with fundamentals and basic 'problem formulation' of DOA Estimation ?

I have 'Two Decades of Array Signal Processing Research' by Krim & Viberg but I need more details on the basics.

Thank you.

In the same paper see the references 8,9,24,25,93,99
Look for spectrum analysis and time delay estimation techniques....

Hope that helps

witch kind of technique you are looking for ?
ESPRIT, MUSIC, GSC ?

witch kind of technique you are looking for ?

I am looking to implement SAGE Algorithm. My present understanding is to go through a series of literature illustrated by the following pyramid.

I am basically around the second from bottom to last layer/step of the pyramid.

Thanks.

Ok, The DOA problem forumulation is :

You have N sensors
M sources (far-field)
T snapshot

For each sensors you have the sum of all the sources, and you aim is to process this output from the sensors to estimate the direction of arrival.

Let Y denote the output, X the sources, A the streenig matrice and N the noise

the pb can be formulated like this :

Y=A*X+N

Hope i helped you, if so please do not forgot to push the button ''helped me''

thanks and enjoy ...
