Dear Friends,

As we know, for varing rms voltage of AC load, we can use dimmer.

what changes should we do to have bellow voltage on DC load?

Any helps will be appreciated.
Thank you

You have to average it with an inductor-capacitor flter.

The thing is, the soft synced trigger circuit (with a DIAC) will not work. You have to provide hard synced trigger pulses.

Hi,

homework?

You want the phase controlled rectified waveform at your load, or pure DC?

Klaus

Actually I want a waveform that doesn't have negative cycle. please see image bellow:

Move the load from rectifier input to rectifier output.

Something like this ( 2 options) With external or internal snubber.

Diodes(4) peak A rated for 5x the average motor load current for duration of acceleration (seconds) and suitable heatsink.
