dear friends,
can i take the data from the inbuilt float sensor in a vehicle for my vehicle tracking system.please reply

thanks in advance.

If it's the old style potentiometric meter it's easy - you need to buffer the signal (OPAMP follower) and then to measure it with ADC.
But if the meter is connected to CAN (new cars) you need more complex solution.

i know this is pretty old thread, but trying to understand the same, is there any more articles/threads to read about it?
