hi!
I need a text to describe the frequency resolution.
I need to learn about that since i have to do sampling by which i can seperate signals that are close in frequency.
I can also use windowing techniques if they help me.

Hi

You need to know about the sampling theorem, Nyquist rate and Nyquist frequency. There is a book around the forum "Discrete time signal processing" by Oppenheim, that may help

The book by proakis is a best book for understanding the frequency resolution and related stuff.
go through it once..

Hi,
only maximum frequncy that exist in a signal constraint samplig frequency not difference between two monotone signals. so regard to nyquest bound by using sufficient samples you can reach desired resolution you want.
