Frequency Hoping in MB-OFDM UWB system

I am working on MB-OFDM UWB system and i found the work below very useful

"UWB Fixed-Point Model (Multiband OFDM) from Martin Clark and Mike Mulligan" (**broken link removed**)

But i found difficulty in understanding how the frequency hopping part works.Any one can help to explain how it works.I appreciate
