Hello for idial adc each voltage step from one logic value to other logic value V has the same values ,so for evey N ,we have V(n+1)=V
so we get for every n DNL=-1 which also means that we are missing logic value.
Where did i go wrong?

Suppose you consider a 3 bit ADC for an input voltage varying between 0 to 8V, 0V corresponds to output code 000, 1V correspond to output code 001......... 7V corresponds to 111 ideally.
DNL = (001 (1V) - 000 (0V)) - 1LSB
As you see, DNL is ideally 0.
