I want to make fm antenna for home use.
Normal is making as per figure 1.
If i make like figure 2 or 3 what will be the result.
The element length will be the same.
In the second figure some degrees angle is given to the elements.
In the third if make the coil of element rod to reduce the height of antenna, is this possible?

i think you should use spiral antenna whose calculations are given in antenna books. because of its length its better.
