I'm currently using an old flash memory and I needed to replace it by a new one. I need to check whether the replacement I will pick will resort to software revision which I want to evade. The old flash memory doesn't support common flash interface. How will I verify that the new flash will require software revision? any items to specifically check? Thanks.
