Fire alarm using LM35DZ instead of a thermistor

Can I use LM35DZ, instead of TH1, in the attached circuit?

Sorry No, you cannot directly replace the Therm with a LM35
The thermistor is resistive device the LM35 is a 'voltage' generator, 10mV/C

EDIT:
I would not recommend a 'heat' sensor for a fire alarm circuit, most deaths in fires are due to smoke inhalation, long before any significant rise in temperature... IMO a Smoke detector is the way to go. :!:
