Hi!
I have a doubt regarding the concept of orthogonal filter bank. In case you're having filter P(w)=1+cosw, we all know that could be used to obtain low pass filter h0(w)=(1+e^-jw)/sqrt(2) using the relationship P=|C|^2. My question is when you're given even more complex filters like P(w)=1+e^jw, how are you going to check whether this filter could be used for obtaining the low pass filter?
