Dear All,

Using "fdatool" in MATLAB I can simulate a e.g. Buthereworth filter and it has for example 10 coefficients.
I want to know is it possible to choose the number of filter coeffients?
For exaple I wat to have 13? How can I do it?
Also their sum should become 1.

so depend on ur response you can calculate no of coefficient required

you can choose the filter order, either by choosing the minimum order option or by directly specifying the filter order you want...it's straight forward!

Could any one tell me that in fdatool, Is it possible to get M-file code of the design after giving parameters in fdatool,

2ndly, please let me know that how we can find the no of tabss of our filter can we change the no of tabs of our filter or they are fixed.
