I need to interface the FPGA(Spartan 3e) with an external RAM because the internal block ram is small. I found some on CYPRESS but they are about 4M X 32b.
I need to have for ex 64Mbyte memory and to interface with Spartan 3e. I don't care a lot about the speed of the clock. The system will not run on a clock more than 100 MHz. I also need the data bus of this external memory to be 32 bits.
What type of memories I should look at?
What companies do sell these memories?
How much does this technique cost?
Thanks

I also need to ask about how easy it is to write a memory controller for this external memory or does it come with its memory controller??

SD ram would probably be easiest. They also have memory controllers made by many people. Xilinx probably provides a memory controller core with a full subscription licence.
