exctation of TE01 delta mode using an iris waveguide

Hello,I have a dielectric ring where its TE01 delta mode is looking like shwn below.
I need to excite it using a iris of rectangular waveguide as shown below.
I have bilt a model as shown below which is creating E-field in the direction the e-field flows in the mode i want to excite.
How ever when i look at the S11 the is zero coupling, i get a sraight 0db line,no energy passed to the disk.
Where did go wrong exciting the te10delta mode using iris waveguide?
Is there some material that could help me?

It looks like the energy in the ring waveguide is highly confined, and has no impetus to transfer through the iris. Are you sure the iris supports the correct mode in the operating band? I would start by looking at its eigenmodes, perhaps the polarization at the end of the waveguide is incorrect?
