resistance evaluation

i've a resistor with off-white coloured body and only one black colour band on it. how i can determine its resistance ?

Re: resistance evaluation

One black ring usually describes 0Ω resistor ..

Re: resistance evaluation

Yes and they are used as jumpers in circuits. An ohmmeter also would give you a value for any resistor if it is not bad.

resistance evaluation

it is the jumper.if u want to find its resistance use some low resistance measurement device

resistance evaluation

Such type of resistor is used as a jumper but be carefull abt the current rating. Every resistor has a certain range of current that it can handle....

resistance evaluation

You should take the resistor and isolate of the circuit and you use a Multimeter, you choice the Ohmeter funtion an you probe the resistor, the value that appear in the display is the value of the resistor.
