Hi,
I am new to the design and layout of on chip ESD circuits, I heard about the simulation of non-snap back mode ESD components are posible using SPECTRE and snap-back mode ESD components are not possible using SPECTRE and needs other simulators to get the result. Is this due to the lack of modelling that holds the circuit with snap-back characteristics to be implemented in SPECTRE.
Suppose if the suppliers of the PDK provides the ESD components schematic that is modeled according to the process would it fit into for the simulation procedure of the esd circuits.
Pls reply with your valuable suggestions.
