escalating PWM oscillator

i have the schematics for a PWM using a 555 Ic and an RC network taken from this forum:

instead of changing the Oscillation time manually with a poti, i need it to steadily change the pulse time, and thought of using another 555 PWM circuit but i dont know how to combine them together .

any thoughts will be appreciated,

thanks, its a very useful link.

im not sure what im looking for is there, but as i am a complete newbie to this, so it might even be there and i just dont know enough of the terminology.

hi KAk,
i did that, and got much info, so i can build a 555PWM no problems,
the feature i want changed is that the escalation time, which is defined by the RC components, would have an escalating value instead of a fixed one.
i could change this value manually with a Poti but need it to automatically escalate.
