Hi,

Iam trying to simulate verilog files using cadence icfb. I could import the files. But for simulation, I need to use the command "verilog +gui <filename>". It gives the error:

verilog:command not found

icfb doesn't have verilog by default? How can I check if verilog is installed? This is the first time Iam using icfb and have no idea about it.

Can anyone please help me out?

Thanks,
Aarthi.

icfb cadence

Hi,

You must install a verilog tool like verilog-xl or ncverilog separately. They comes with IUS package (prev. LDV package).

icfb command not found

check if you have the path of the binary (/bin) "verilog" defined in your source file

icfb &

azerm is right.

To compile Verilog codes, you have to install the IUS package and the command is 'ncverilog' and 'ncsim'.

cadence icfb verilog

right. ncverilog is the verilog compiler. verilog command is for verilog-XL, different from nclaunch.
