Re: error message while installing cadence tools in fedora 3

What OS level you using? btw, the setenv LD_KERNEL_ASSUME should work properly.. , you need to create a symbolic link on tools.lnx86 directory to tools

can u list how to work out mr.Skynet.

thanks

Re: error message while installing cadence tools in fedora 3

at your terminal, csh your should see something like this,

username_on_machine-name>

so you type "setenv LD_KERNEL_ASSUME 2.4.1"

after this, you type "echo $LD_KERNEL_ASSUME", you should get 2.4.1. if you get this mean you are in correct path.

after this, try to find a directory "tools.lnx86" inside your cadence installtion directory.

so u put ln -s tools tools.lnx86

you should about to get this thing work

Type your choice: [ 2 ]
Type the CD-ROM mount point: [ /media/cdrecorder ]
