Hello,

If i wish to measure the leakage inductance of a flyback SMPS transformer, would i be better using an LCR Meter, or a Frequency Analyzer?

thankyou, but i am sure inductance can be measured on a AP200 frequency analyser....from ray ridley.

It gives impedance versus frequency plot, and from this, we work out inductance with Z = 2.pi.f.L

"Frequency analyzer" isn't a known technical term, it can be understood in different ways. An AP200 has in fact the same building blocks as a LCR meter, in so far it can measure complex impedances. Better or not depends on the LCR meter specification.
